Science and Math Is More Important Essay Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is more important for students to study history and literature than it is for them to study science and mathematics. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. (250-300 words) ESSAY History, literature, science and mathematics are all classic and very important subject in their own sense. No subject can be given more or less importance in life. However, in my opinion, studying science and mathematics are more important than studying history and literature. Firstly, science and mathematics are essential to most subjects. In other words, No matter which subject you want to learn, economics, finance or mechanics, you must have sufficient science and mathematics knowledge to understand it. For example, if person after studying science in secondary school, it is still possible to change lanes towards law at university, but if one only does the art subjects in school, one has no possibility of becoming an engineer later. My second reason is, studying science contributes abundantly to the human life. What Iââ¬â¢m trying to say is, without science or mathematics, there wonââ¬â¢t be any technology, which we will still be in our prehistoric days without it. Electricity is a typical example. How will we survive if the magical power vanished? Not only itââ¬â¢s used for lighting but to make most machines work. We need electricity like we need air to breathe. Although Shakespeare or Charles Dickensââ¬â¢s work are all very fascinating, but so are Newtonââ¬â¢s laws of gravity and movement. And actually, without the creation of paper or pen, which is science, William Shakespeare wouldnââ¬â¢t exist. In conclusion, it is clear that the importance of science and mathematics have to be learnt is much more than studying history and literature. Science and mathematics should be the two most necessary and impotent subjects in our modern life.

The essential component of the centre would be a place where ICT knowledge is disseminated through the cutting-edge of information knowledge economy and transfer initiative, the use of communication technologies and sophisticated knowledge sharing process and education. Tertiary institutions established by the state and other Modern urban development infrastructures that attract the Youth and other Nigerian citizens including Foreign Nationals into the capital city are located in Jalingo POPULATION: The 1991 Census figures, Taraba State has a population figure of (1,512,163 million). As at the 2003 projection of 31% the population of the state now stand at (2,074,615 million). FACILITIES NEEDED: The complex which will be referred to as ââ¬Å"The Digital Villageâ⬠shall have facilities such as: Computers and Printers for Training and Internet Access. Telephone and Fax Machines. Source of Power supply (Solar and Electrical). Equipped and Furnished conference Centre Air Conditioners. Laptops. Manpower Operators. Project Occupancy at a time @ 300 persons 24 Hours Access and opens at 8:00am. TIME-TABLE FOR RAISING FUND TO START PROJECT OPERATION: 2006 Project Team Exchange visit between the Project Prospective Development Technical Partner .This is to facilitate Formative stages and drawing ââ¬âup of project details for actualization of plans. 2006- 2007 Funds made available and work begins at site and if the building is to be provided and not constructed, then renovation on the site to suit Project as designated. Technical Development Partner(s) on the other hand, to Supply and Provide the technical know-how/expertise that will equip the centre in Jalingo, Taraba State with PCs. And such a Partners(s) to play consultancy role and management before eventual transfer of ownership of the centre to the Initiating Team and Taraba State Government after the latter must have set-up a management structure for the centre. Other Areas of collaboration which may not have been detailed here in the proposal including legal contract agreements etc, to be agreed upon in the final draft agreement for the project having the preliminary objectives/idea for the realization of the Center is accepted as the basis of project initiation. EXISTING CAFES: Taraba State cannot be said to have been fully connected to the internet Network or its Digital and Telecommunication Infrastructures are full developed. At Wukari LG, there is only Internet Cafà ©. At Zing LGA, the internet Cafà © located at Bizarre Hotels may not serving broad society needs. At the state capital Jalingo, there are only four functional internet Cafà ©s. With over 2million people population therefore, the state need more internet connectivity and access than it is currently obtainable. TRAINING PROGRAMMES: The training at the centre shall be designed to enhance accessibility to Information Technology with key aim of preparing and equipping applicants/trainees to automatically fit into competitive labor pool with best and optimum result that meets job creation in the private and Public Sectors. TDVC INTERNET CAFÃâ°: The primary responsibility of this sector at the Center is to continue to explore and provide access to Information Communication Technology and or to the society through the use of internet access. This section will be multi-stake-holder to provide the best and efficient service desired of a growing metropolitan community like Jalingo, the capital city of Taraba State- Nigeria. EXPLANATORY NOTES/CONCLUSION: The project was once commissioned shall be renamed after the Name of the first Executive Governor of Taraba State. It is thus proposed that the center be Named as ââ¬Å"REV. JOLLY T. NYAME CENTRE OF EXCELLENCEâ⬠. This is the first Project in Taraba State to bear the inscription of His Excellency. It shall then be a Model for other New Millennium ICTs project. It shall enhance the way people and organizations communicate, exchange knowledge and access information. The centre shall facilitate the development of : ââ¬â Entrepreneurship and youth leadership development. A unifying focus for all tribes, race without discrimination. A centre that provide a world class and unique socio-economic, political and Technological development. Analysis Of The Article The Constitution - 948 Words
The Constitution was written over 200 years ago with the intent to establish a guideline or laws for the government. However, over the years, and with changing times, those Bill of Rights have been challenged. With a diverse society and unique cultural makeup, the United States Constitution has been interpreted in many fashions. This has led to civil disputes of constitutional rights. A good example of this can be seen in an article I read about an Amish man who wanted to purchase a gun. However, gun laws mandate that an individual must have a photo ID to purchase a gun, and Amish do not take photos. Andrew Hertzler is an Amish man in Pennsylvania who has filed a federal lawsuit claiming his religious beliefs would be violated if took aâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦I understand with strict laws on purchasing guns, and the continuing violence, no exceptions can/will be made. However, how can you tell someone that they have to choose between what rights they want violated? The Amendme nts are clear, and revisions should not take precedence over individual rights outlined by our forefathers. We cannot pick and choose what Amendment we want to upheld with changing times. A second article I read was about a middle school being replaced in Oceanside by a charter school. The parents of the students are arguing that the new school will be bias because of its strict requirements. The middle school is being replaced with the charter school due to a decline in enrollment. The parents fear that the transition will push the students out of the school, and force. The charter school requires a 2.0 GPA and auditions. The parents and school board claim that they will not have a fear opportunity with their education. The ACLU has intervened and calls the move ââ¬Å"unlawfulâ⬠and also lacks in providing equal education (Alford, 2015). The parents feel that this will violate the constitution and go against their rights to equal education In this particular case I feel as if the Bill of Rights has been upheld. I do not think there is anything wrong with replacing a school that will allow more opportunities to other children. Regardless if the school was replaced, it still lacked enrollment.
